In collaboration with Lubicon Lake Band #453, the provincial and federal governments, Mighty Peace Wireless is constructing a new fiber optic network.

This community owned fiber optic infrastructure will greatly improve internet service for the area.

MPW and Lubicon Lake Band have secured funding support from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and the Government of Alberta, covering up to 90% of total project costs. This funding will support the development of a next-generation fiber network that links homes and businesses directly to the core backbone infrastructure.

Delivered through the Universal Broadband Fund, with additional provincial support, the project is focused on expanding dependable, high-speed internet access to rural and underserved areas.
