Bringing Fiber To Clear Hills County
With the support of Clear Hills County, the federal and provincial governments, Mighty Peace Wireless is constructing a new fiber network in Clear Hills County and the village of Hines Creek. Together we are creating the kind of internet backbone that rural communities need to grow and compete.
This project is about building strong infrastructure with long-term reliability, and real resources that will help local businesses, farms, and families in the area thrive. Access to high-speed internet is an essential component of economic growth, education and social well-being for those in rural communities.
We are laying a stable utility framework for supporting future growth and opportunity to live and work in the area.
Community Engagement
Our construction team will be handing out flyers in person when they are in the area laying fiber in the ground.
You can come see us at the Clear Hills County 29th Annual Agricultural Trade Show on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek, Alberta. We will be handing out sign-up flyers and answering any questions that the community might have.
We will also be at the 21st Annual Clear Hills BBQ taking place at Many Islands Campground on July 23, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Grant Funding
Mighty Peace Wireless has secured funding support from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and the Government of Alberta, covering up to 75% of total project costs. This funding will support the development of a next-generation fiber network that links homes and businesses directly to the core backbone infrastructure.
Delivered through the Universal Broadband Fund, with additional provincial support, the project is focused on expanding dependable, high-speed internet access to rural and underserved areas throughout the county.
